SAHASRA GOKSHEERABHISHEKA SEVA ALL INDIA ONGOLE-COWS  MILK YIELD COMPETITIONS “AN APPEAL”  ******                    This  is  to bring  to the kind notice that All- India Milk yield competitions  will be conducted  at Sri Venkateswara Swamivari Devastanam, Dwaraka Tirumala, West Godavari district,  From 28-04-2012 to 01-05-2012 for all the indigenous Cattle breeds  viz… punganur, Sahiwal, Tharparkar, Red Sindhi, Gir,Kankrej, Rath, Haryana, Hissar, Malvi, Deoni in general and in particular  the Ongole, the pride of Andhra Pradesh in which more than  1008 cows are expected  to participate. Velchur the smallest breed of the world will be a special attraction in the show.                       This milk Yield Competition is of unique nature, as never heard nor seen ever before with the participation of 1008 cows in the annals of history.                     The cattle breeders from allover the country are expected to participate in this Milk Yield Competitions, and lacks of visitors and devotees are expected to attend.                                        The most significant feature is that, the milk so  obtained from more than 1008 cows will specially be  offered for”ABHISHEKA SEVA”  in thousands of temples by lakhs of devotees.                    Besides this,The Go-Pooja will be performed on 01-05-2012, where in all the 1008 cows will be made available for those devotees, Who perform Go-Pooja, and such occasions  are the rarest opportunities  one can come cross in life span.                               Apart from the above, the” GIRI-PRADAKSHINA” by more than one thousand cows with large groups of bhajan mandals and devotees  chanting the  Nama Sankeerthana, will be performed.                     During these days of un-rest among farming community, enforcing distress disposal of cows, this programme is aimed to encourage and retain the most reliable, dependable, and eco-friendly native breeds with ethical, moral and modern scientific approach.                     In the wake of above, we humbly request the philanthropists, kind-hearted people, cow-devotees, the ecologists to support the cause and do generously donate Gold/silver medals  as a token of  appreciation to the prize winners and to all the participants of the Milk Yield Competitions.                     We, also make it clear that, the donations will be accepted in the form of kind only but not either Cash or Demand Draft/Cheque.
